Good Afternoon Second Grade and Families,
It was so nice to see everyone this morning. Attached is a worksheet to practice what we learned from Lesson 1 of our Second Step program. The topic is, Being Respectful.
Today, we learned how to be respectful. Being respectful helps us be better learners.
There are many ways to be respectful. You can:
• Be kind and polite
• Take turns
• Pay attention and listen to the speaker
• Raise your hand to speak
When you’re being respectful, you’re thinking about how others want to be treated and treating them that way. Thinking about how you would like to be treated will help you decide how to treat others.
Please see the attached worksheet to help you practice being respectful at home. Let me know how it went. If you have any questions, I am here.
Enjoy and have a HAPPY FRIDAY :)
