About Me

Hi! My name is Mrs. Mackey and I’ve been privileged to teach here, at P.S. 52, since 2006.  I’ve taught for many years in both the lower and upper grades. My number one goal is to have my students want to come to school each day.  I truly believe that if they like to learn and feel challenged, as well as supported throughout the learning process, then they will have a successful experience. We are a community of learners and will work rigorously toward building a positive, friendly, and encouraging classroom culture. It is important that we work closely together throughout this year to ensure every child’s success. I look forward to an exciting and fulfilling school year!
